The Team Hong Kong PYM blade from Sunflex is one of the highest quality defensive blades on the market. Compared to most “normal” table tennis blades, it has a slightly larger blade, which further increases the control and safety of the shots . However, the blade is not as slow as other defensive blades, so counterattacks can also be carried out with great force. We chose the straight grip, which is popular with most defensive players, so that you can turn the racket more easily during the rally if necessary.
The Epos table tennis rubber from the German brand PiMPLEPARK is mounted on the forehand side . Thanks to its soft, 1.4mm thick sponge, the Epos provides an enormous feeling for the ball and therefore a maximum of control. The top rubber is slightly sticky, which means that push and defensive balls as well as soft topspins with a lot of rotation can be played.
The backhand rubber is the Sunflex Ice Breaker . Marble, stone and ice(s) break, but your defense doesn't! On the one hand, the long pimpled rubber is less sensitive to cuts than “normal” pimpled inner rubbers, which makes it much easier to secure returns to opposing serves as well as undercut defensive balls on powerful topspins, but on the other hand it also allows unpleasant counterattacks.
